Central Atlanta Progress (CAP) is set to honor forme Atlanta LifeInsurance Co. CEO and civil rightsx leader JesseHill Jr. and George Berry, formee commissioner of the Georgia Departmenytof Industry, Trade and Tourism, at its March 26 annuak meeting. CAP will recognize Hill with the DanSweat Award, given to a business or organizational executive who has becomew a leader beyond the scoper of his or her positiobn in the community. Givenj in memory of past CAP President Dan the award is designed tohonor Sweat’sw accomplishments in leading the organization and downtownh Atlanta through difficult times in the businessw and political environment of the city’s growth.
