In a comment provided Wednesdayg afternoon to the San Francisco Business UC reiterated that it has provided informatiomto Grassley’s office on the financial issuez in question and that Kessler’s allegationxs have been exhaustively and repeatedly investigated at the University’sz expense. Those investigations “havre found no evidence whatsoever of any inaccuracy in the booksd and records ofthe ,” UC said in its writtebn statement. UC officials also noted that a review releaser in March 2008 bythe U.S.
Department of Healtb and Human Services’ Office of the Inspector Generak found thatUCSF “had complied with all Federal regulations for claiminbg reimbursement for administrative and clerical expenses” connected to the NIH
