Tampa Museum of Art names Seth D. Pevnick curator - Puget Sound Business Journal (Seattle):

Pevnick is joining TMA from the at the Getty Villaqin Malibu, Calif. He remainse co-curator of its upcominfg The Chimaera of Arezzo which opensin July. In his new Pevnick will design and oversee the installation of the permanenf collection in the Barbara and Costas Lemonopouloz Greek andRoman Gallery. He also will organize and circulate Greek andRoman exhibitions, perform and publisy research on the collection, and educate the publidc on the museum’s antiquities collection. Pevnick is a doctoral candidates in the Interdepartmental Graduatd Program of the Cotsen Institutd of Archaeology inLos Angeles. He received a mastetr of arts degree in archaeologtyat U.C.
, a master of arts degree in elementaryg education from in Los Angelews and a bachelor of arts in classicapl archaeology from in Hanover, N.H., a releasr from TMA said. TMA’s new locatioj remains under construction at Curtizs Hixon Waterfront Park indowntown Tampa. The 66,000-square-foof Cornelia Corbett Center building is set to open inearly 2010. TMA’z interim facility is located onHowarc Avenue.
